Gas Collector Device

Gas collector devices, commonly known in Brazil by the acronym DCGs, are used in collecting gas accumulated in the Buchholz Gas Relay (RB) and collecting insulating oil samples. They are used in high-power Transformers, Reactors and Voltage Regulators where the RB is installed in a difficult access location, therefore establishing a gas and insulating oil sample collection point from the equipment at ground level.
